Valencia

In the autumn of 2006, Plossu and Baylón crossed paths in Valencia. Bernard was exhibiting Cities and Landscapes at the MuVIM together with Marcelo Fuentes, and at Railowsky one could see fragments of that intense human comedy by Baylón titled Madrid Anónimo. This encounter was just one more among the many they had shared since Javier Campano introduced them in Madrid in 1994. In those days, during a meeting with J.R. Font de Mora, we spoke about the idea of creating an exhibition that would bring together both photographers’ wanderings through Valencia. A stroll they were meant to share, but which they ultimately carried out separately.
