A photographic and human journey through life on the streets, capturing Spain in the 1990s.

Throughout his life, Baylón sought, in his own words, “to transcribe reality in a natural way. Without composing or modifying the scene. To photograph people as they are, as they present themselves to the world, and not as the photographer would like them to be.”

“Los Españoles” brings together black and white images taken between 1982 and 2014, revealing Baylón’s unique perspective and the essence of his country.
